This week, we find out about Topic!

Last Monday we drew China on a map in topic. It was fun and I enjoyed all of it. First we drew a graph on some squared paper then we drew China on the paper. Next Miss Magor wrote some coordinates on the white-board then we had to place them on our paper. We found out that China is the largest country in Asia.

On Wednesday and Thursday we started making power points on the iPads about China. We did it on an app called Keynote which is great because you can do lots of amazing things like animation, effects and you can make as many as you like! Before we made our power points we had to at least find ten facts about China. For example, did you know that they invented ice-cream? When we got our iPads Miss Magor showed us what to do and by the end of the two lessons most people had finished!

In Mrs Mulroy’s class we have been learning how to draw the Great Wall of China. We also learnt lots of different facts about the wall and that it was built 2000 years ago. Miss Nattrass taught us how to draw a 3D block because on the Great Wall of China there are watch towers which look better 3D. My drawing was a little bit harder than I thought because making it 3D was difficult.

This week in class we have been drawing bar graphs to show the rainfall and the temperature in China. We all chose a city and did ether rainfall or temperature. Most of us chose rain fall because it was easiest to round to the nearest 10. I thought it was easy but some people found the rounding to the nearest ten hard.
That's it from our bloggers for now! Tune in next week for an update.
