Golden Rule - Listen to People
Lewis, all the staff in Year 5 have commented on your developing, mature attitude. Although you clearly like to enjoy yourself and have fun, you have now found a great balance between having a joke and working extremely hard. You make us laugh everyday with your quick witted comments but know when to draw the line and knuckle down! Well done you!
Golden Rule - Be Honest
Well done Marcus,it hasn't been the easiest of roads for you to get where you are now and we've had a few bumps along the way. But the important thing is, you are really impressing everyone. You are the first to hold your hand up if something has happened, this saves us a lot of time and energy. However, even more impressive is how little any issues involving you arise! I love your work hard, play hard attitude so keep it up!
Terrific Topic Work
Firstly, great job Chloe M on your fantastic pencil sketch of Anne of Cleves! If only you could see this drawing up close you would be blown away by the amount of finite detail Chloe has included. As well as this detail, she used a wide range of shading techniques which Mrs Chatwin expertly taught. All in all, I think Chloe's Anne of Cleves is better than the original!
Secondly, Adelaide and Elle have been extremely creative while designing and making their 3D Tudor Rose. They used 4 different 3D techniques to add variety and style to their finished product and were meticulously careful at all stages of the creating process to ensure all the parts were neatly and precisely placed!
Remarkable Writer
Again, another very tricky choice for me to chose someone out of my class because of the amount of hard work and effort everyone is putting in. Kez, although, is an excellent choice because every piece of writing he did last week had only GREAT GREEN highlighted! He even wrote a letter to Mrs Wilson to persuade her to let us out in the snow, and guess what?! It was that persuasive, she said yes!
Magical Mathematician
Alfie, was chosen by Mr Russel for working so hard in numeracy that Mr Russel had to find him extra, harder problems to solve. We were both also particularly impressed with his mental maths skills and at how fast he can add and subtract in his head! Phew, think you might even beat me!
Albi was chosen because he pushed himself to the limits last week with all his work. He tried the most difficult calculations and worked diligently to solve the correct answers. We were both very impressed with your drive to be the absolute best you can!We love that type of attitude Albi!
Marvelous Monkey
Oliver, you have developed a great, mature attitude towards your work and school in general. You know when to crack a joke and make use smile but you are also recognising how important it is to do your absolute best and make as much progress as you can. You are always polite and helpful and we really enjoy having you in our class.
Last, but by no means least, Ella-Mai! Thank you for being such a hardworking member of our class. You always know exactly what you should be doing and get on with it with out any fuss. You are beginning to let us know if you need help or are unsure but this really does not happen very often at all. Furthermore, you are a great support and team worker on your table, you share, take turns and help out members of your group when they need a hand! Great stuff!
